It was sunny today and the temperature was in the 40s so I put the E-P3 with the 20 mm lens around my neck and took a walk. The first picture was along the sidewalk at the end of the facility next to the cottages.
After passing Homewood I came to a cemetery. [Charlie, you can stop chuckling. It is indicative of our eventual fate and you have to agree it is handy.]
This house sits across from the cemetery, right beyond Homewood of Plum Creek.
While the pictures aren’t much, I did learn a few things. I found that I walked far and long enough to cause my knees to get a little wobbly and to start bothering me. Lesson learned: start taking my walking stick if I plan to walk far.
The lesson about the E-P3 was that after loading the pictures into Lightroom, I noticed that they were all slightly under exposed. This was no problem since I had shot raw so I just tweaked the exposures while developing them. If I find this to be persistent I can adjust the settings in the camera.
In total it was a fruitful trip, especially since when I got home and walked into the house I smelled my favorite mincemeat cookies baking.

Now John…I wasn’t going to chuckle…I did that already since I had taken a look at Google Earth right after you moved there and had already seen the proximity of cemetery to your new home.;-)
